SOCIAL COGNITIVE THEORISTS
Albert Bandura
Bandura expanded the Social Learning Theory through his Bobo Doll Experiment. He emphsized the value of modeling and its affects on children. In 1986 Bandura argued, in his second published book, that human behavior is caused by personal behavior and environmental influences. Bandura would go on to rename his theory and call it Social Cognitive Theory, to reflect the role cognition has in the learning process.
